Congratulations to 2021 Melissa Garcia (16U team) for her verbal commitment to attend Dominican University located in San Rafael. Melissa joined Sting this past Fall and worked her butt off from the start. She listened and committed to the process. Her ongoing routine of personal strength and development improved her marketability immensely. Dominican is the perfect fit for her pursuit of a BS/MA degree in the medical field. I’m so excited to be a P
enguin, and call Dominican University my home! Thank you so much to every coach and teammate that has helped me along the way and to my parents who have supported me through it all! I knew I wanted to go to Dominican after hearing about the supportive, family community they have on the field and in the classroom! It was the perfect fit for me! I plan on majoring in nursing and eventually going to grad school to become a Physician Assistant. I’m so excited to start the next chapter of my life at Dominican! Go Sting and go Penguins!
