2021 Mari Takeda-Bajan says YES to the Wildcats!
Mari Takeda-Bajan has selected the Chico State Wildcats as her new home for college softball. The 2021 (18G Gron) junior pitcher from Pioneer high had other choices coming her way but decided Chico was the perfect fit she was looking for.
Mari says it best: “I am so excited to go to an amazing college and get the opportunity to play the sport I love! I have been on many campus tours and when I got to Chico, I fell in love with it. The coaching staff and players form a very supportive and relaxed community. When I went to the campus both for a camp and my unofficial visit, there was always a common theme of being included in a family when you come to Chico and that is when I knew Chico was the school for me. I definitely would not be where I am today without the amazing support of my family and all of my coaches I have had over the years! I am so excited to play for Coach Shamblin and play collegiate softball as a wildcat!” Good luck Mari and congratulations!
