"Since the moment I stepped onto campus, it has been my dream to play competitive softball for Coach Williams and Coach Homan at Dartmouth College. I admire Coach William’s focus on creating a strong, tight-knit team culture and on supporting her athletes’ mental health, and I am more than excited to help lead and continue this tradition. Dartmouth’s incomparable and stellar education was always something that stood out to me, but the driving factor in my decision was the community. While on my campus visit, I fell in love with the supportive, yet competitive, atmosphere created by the team, and there is no other group of girls whom I would rather play alongside.
There were moments when I worried if my dream was out of reach or if it was just not meant to be, but I have learned that anything is possible with a determined attitude, strong work ethic, and faith. Now, I can proudly say that I have achieved my dream, and this next step of my life is just the beginning of many unexpected, memorable adventures. I am extremely blessed to have his opportunity and with it, I plan to study psychology to become a criminal psychologist. I can not wait to see what is in store for my future at Dartmouth College!
